Autotech Recruit is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for a busy automotive workshop in Staines. The role focuses on servicing, diagnosis and repair to manufacturer standards, with ongoing training in latest technologies including Electric and Hybrid vehicles.

You will join a well-equipped workshop with emphasis on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, plus career development and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve workshop objectives.
• Deliver outstanding levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential.
• Main dealer experience advantageous.
• Professional approach with excellent attention to detail.
