Job summary

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking an Elective Patient Pathway Navigator to ensure accurate RTT pathway data and timely management of waiting lists. The role supports the Endoscopy admissions team, coordinates elective admissions from referral to treatment, and improves patient experience while complying with national standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with RTT management best practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive and able to work autonomously.
• Ability to liaise with patients, families, clinicians and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate admitted and non-admitted Patient Tracking Lists; report RTT position weekly and take proactive action to prevent breaches.
• Support admin and clerical teams and medical staff; provide RTT training on issues, outcome forms and Access Policy.
• Coordinate elective admission pathways from referral to treatment; ensure bookings align with Access Policy and national waiting time standards.
• Liaise with consultants, Cancer Services, Pathway Coordinators, endoscopy team and support services to optimise endoscopy capacity and patient experience.
