Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an EHV Cables Project Manager to lead large-scale high voltage infrastructure projects. This role entails overseeing projects from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring delivery aligns with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering and experience managing EHV cable projects. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and access to various health and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Manage medium-to-large scale EHV cable projects through the full lifecycle.
• Good understanding of switchgear, power transformers, and overhead lines.
• Ability to act as Designer and Principal Designer under CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop EHV projects into compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Project manage delivery of EHV cable projects to time, cost, safety, and quality targets.
• Coordinate external service providers and monitor project progress.
