Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced EHV Cables Project Manager to join their Transmission and Distribution team in Manchester. This role involves project-managing large-scale EHV cable projects from design to energisation while ensuring time, cost, safety, and quality objectives are met.

The ideal candidate will have an HNC in Electrical Engineering and relevant experience managing EHV projects, alongside strong communication skills and a commitment to health and safety standards. Flexible working arrangements and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience managing medium-to-large scale EHV cable projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution plant items such as switchgear and transformers.
• Ability to travel to client sites within North East England and Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Develop EHV projects initial functional requirements into compliant engineering solutions.
• Project-manage the delivery of EHV cable projects to achieve time and cost objectives.
• Interface with customers and coordinate external service providers.
