Job summary

Boston Energy is seeking an experienced and proactive EHS Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across Dogger Bank operations, based in Billingham. This is a highly visible leadership role, with responsibility for strengthening safety culture and ensuring compliant delivery across offshore wind activities.

You will regularly travel to the Port of Nigg to oversee onsite safety teams, mentoring EHS Advisors and reporting safety metrics.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience leading audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Willingness to travel to project and client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Leading EHS performance across Dogger Bank operations.
• Driving a strong, proactive safety culture.
• Supporting and developing site-based EHS Advisors.
• Ensuring compliance with legislative, client and company requirements.
• Conducting audits, inspections and risk assurance activities.
• Overseeing high-risk operational activities and safe systems of work.
• Leading incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Monitoring EHS performance, reporting trends and managing risk.
• Supporting the safe and successful delivery of project objectives.
