Job summary

Simply Blue Group is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager / Principal Designer for Erebus, a float­ing offshore wind project near the UK. The role combines leadership of H&S across design, risk management, PCI and HSMS with offshore and marine coordination responsibilities.

You will report to the SBE H&S Director and work from the Erebus Project Office in Bristol, with a minimum three days on-site weekly, including a Monday or Friday. Experience in offshore wind and CDM 2015 is essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years' relevant experience in health & safety in construction or engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in offshore wind sector with 3+ years in senior H&S leadership.
• Experience as Principal Designer and/or leading H&S on major project through FID.
• Strong hazard identification, risk assessment and control on large multi-contractor projects.
• Ability to communicate safety performance to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction H&S across Erebus design packages per CDM 2015.
• Lead design risk management and maintain risk registers.
• Develop PCI and Health and Safety File at gateways.
• Coordinate H&S input across designers and stakeholders.
• Establish and lead the project HSMS (ISO 45001, G9/GWO).
• Set and audit contractor HSMS compliance.
