Masdar, based in the United Kingdom, seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead safety across onshore and offshore works for the DBS project. You will ensure compliant delivery, embed policies, and provide end-to-end HSE support.

The role involves audits, incident investigations, stakeholder liaison with regulators, and building HSE capability across teams. A strong background in CDM 2015, NEBOSH, IOSH, and offshore safety qualifications is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a H&S discipline; electrical engineer is an advantage.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification (highly desirable).
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent Level 3+ HSE qualification).
• BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS – Required if offshore attendance is expected.
• GWO Certifications: Working at Heights, Sea Survival, Fire Awareness, First Aid, Manual Handling. OGUK Offshore Medical Certificate –Required if offshore attendance is expected.
• CDM 2015 Awareness/Training – Understanding of roles and responsibilities under UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations. ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification – Desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe delivery of onshore/offshore construction per HSE strategy.
• Maintain HSE plans compliant with CDM 2015 for onshore/offshore works.
• Conduct site inspections, HSE tours, audits; close out unsafe acts.
• Lead regular HSE audits across project areas and maintain risk register.
• Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses; develop corrective actions.
• Engage with regulators and stakeholders on HSE matters; ensure timely reporting.
