Job summary
Masdar is seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to provide project-specific environmental management, compliance assurance and specialist advice for the Dogger Bank South project across development, construction, commissioning, operations readiness and decommissioning interfaces.
The role requires coordinating with the project team, contractors and regulators to ensure compliance with legislation and environmental plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate required or desirable.
- IEMA Practitioner Membership or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental auditing.
- Offshore medical and CDM awareness/training advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental management for DBS project delivery across lifecycle stages.
- Review EMPs, RAMS, waste plans and permit commitments for compliance.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring, audits and incident investigations.
- Provide specialist advice on risk management for offshore construction teams.
- Engage with contractors, regulators and stakeholders on environmental issues.
- Identify environmental risks and recommend mitigations for project delivery.
