Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an HSE Expert to provide independent health, safety and environmental assurance on a major offshore wind project. The role covers onshore mobilisation and offshore execution, with reporting to the Principal Contractor to ensure safe planning and execution.

Essential qualifications include NEBOSH/IOSH, CDM 2015 knowledge, and GWO Enhanced First Aid; OEUK Medical clearance is also desirable. 2-year contract, Outside IR35, offshore deployment.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General/Construction certificate as a minimum requirement.
• IOSH TechIOSH membership or higher.
• Experience in offshore wind or multi-contractor construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and UK HSE legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide objective HSE assurance to Principal Contractor and contractors.
• Monitor HSE performance and conduct site inspections, audits and reviews.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work systems.
• Escalate serious safety concerns and drive corrective actions.
• Produce weekly HSE assurance and performance reports.
