Bedford Borough Council is seeking a SEND Officer to manage a caseload of children and young people with EHC Plans, coordinating with families, schools and partner agencies to secure the support they deserve.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015.
• Experience with EHC Plans and statutory processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHC Plans.
• Work directly with young people, families, education settings and partner agencies to ensure appropriate support.
• Collaborate with schools and services to coordinate services and improve outcomes.
