Job description

One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was constructed on the site of the original Sherborne Spa. It became a preferred accommodation for nobility and royalty visiting Cheltenham to restore, renew, and revive.

Our Opportunity

The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and owning all sales activities—both proactive and reactive—within the hotel and local market. This role involves partnering with the cluster Sales and Marketing team to achieve revenue targets across all business segments. You will lead in clarifying and communicating personal responsibilities and accountabilities in collaboration with the hotel General Manager to all stakeholders, ensuring a consistent and targeted approach to revenue streams. Additionally, you will oversee the MICE office, maximizing all sales opportunities. Recent proactive sales experience and a solid understanding of reactive sales are essential.
