We are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working remotely with regular travel and overnight stays across the South of the UK.

The Role

As an Area Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth and strengthen key customer relationships across Southern England and Southern Wales.

Focussing on pipeline development and account management, you will position Simpson Strong-Tie as the leading supplier for Engineered Timber and construction systems, using our exceptional products and technical support to successfully convert opportunities into sales.

Key Duties Will Include

  • Growing and maintaining a strong client base, meeting area sales targets and KPIs
  • Developing new business leads and converting them into long-term customers
  • Building strong relationships, delivering outstanding customer service and technical support
  • Updating the CRM system, tracking sales activity, and reporting on progress
  • Supporting product development, customer training, and marketing initiatives
  • Providing regular competitor feedback and collaborating with internal teams

About You

To be considered as an Area Sales Manager, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a sales and account management role
  • A proven track record of consistent sales performance
  • High levels of commercial acumen and numeracy
  • Confidence in presenting and communicating at all levels
  • Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
  • A full, valid driving licence
