A market-leading Facilities Management niche specialist services provider is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to join its growing team. This 50-year-old business has grown significantly over the last decade, consistently surpassing its annual targets, and is now looking to expand further with immediate effect.
Salary is dependent on experience but will be circa £45,000-£50,000 plus a car package and an uncapped OTE, with team members earning an additional £20,000-£30,000 annually.
This organization operates extensively across the UK with both FM providers and end users, offering services across Hard and Soft FM sectors, providing bundled solutions across all vertical markets. They have unique USPs that distinguish them from competitors and offer an industry-leading rewards package for their commercial team. The team has consistently delivered against budget and grown organically into a sizable, collaborative unit that strategically cross-sells.
The services provided include commercial cleaning, fire safety systems, building access solutions, building maintenance, and more. Clients include household names such as Mitie, CBRE, HSBC, Tesco, Pizza Hut, NHS, Engie, Sainsbury's, Sodexo, B&Q, Rolls Royce, Marks & Spencer, and others.
Your role will involve building relationships with decision-makers such as Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Health and Safety Managers, Procurement Managers, Compliance Managers, and Directors in Finance or Management, depending on the client. You should be a natural hunter of new business, excel at winning work, and influencing stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills, rapport-building abilities, and a target-driven mindset are essential. You will thrive in a business that values excellence and be part of a successful, forward-moving team.
This role is home-based, covering a national territory. You should be experienced in identifying end-user clients and service providers, and in selling products or services to decision-makers. While specific experience in this field is not required, experience in selling to similar decision-makers and a proven track record of new business development are essential. You will also manage the accounts you win. The organization has maintained staff stability in their commercial teams for over three years, reflecting a successful and supportive environment.
