Job Description:

We're delighted to be working with one of the UK's specialist engineering firms, seeking to employ a driven and motivated Technical Sales Manager. The position can be field based in the Midlands/North of the UK.

You will help to maintain and secure new and existing business across Scotland and the North of the UK, focusing on high-growth customers within chemical, pharma, scientific, and energy sectors. Engineering experience in any market will be considered, along with the ability to learn new skills in the role.

Ideal candidates will have experience in proposal writing, client visits, and confidence in selling to senior management and technically focused decision-makers. The role primarily involves retaining and growing existing accounts, with a focus on new business acquisition. Strong technical understanding, good communication skills, and the ability to grasp client needs are essential.

This is a home-based role requiring a driver's license and a minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering/technical sales. A degree is not mandatory, and applications from candidates with varying experience levels are encouraged, including those seeking a home-based opportunity.
