ASM - South Central region

THE ROLE : As an Area Sales Manager within the South Central region you will spend your time building relationships and managing projects with M&E Contractors, as well as managing the wholesaler relationship within your region. You will be selling a range of industrial, commercial and emergency lighting products and have full accountability for your region and customers. Candidates with experience in lighting, cabling or associated electrical products will do very well. Candidates working with or for electrical wholesalers should also apply as full training and support will be given. You will be looking to secure and manage projects within the Commercial, Industrial and Public sector and aim to grow the relationships between projects and the stock and flow of products with wholesalers in your region. Working as part of a close knit family run business you will represent a profitable, growing company. The position will require you to demonstrate your understanding of relationship building and organisation as well as technical credibility and passion for products. Key to success in this role is a proven track record of field sales and strong sales process with effective communication techniques. Candidates need a team player mentality but also the ability to work alone and be self sufficient in their region.

The business offers sales people lots of support and training and a stable career. An exciting time to join with a wide variety of industrial, commercial and public sector projects to be involved in.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

·2 years or more working in field sales within lighting or electrical sector

·Understanding of M&E Contractors or Electrical Distributors

·Ability to manage a pipeline of projects as well as feeding back to wholesalers

·An organised, driven and professional salesperson with good attention to detail

·Understanding of electrical or technical drawings/technical aptitude is desirable but not essential.

Salary: up to £52,000 basic salary, plus up to £15k OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme
