Job description

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering manufacturer with industrial applications across industries such as filtration, defence, aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, and more.

The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for industrial textiles and materials within the filtration industry across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the filtration industry, selling products or services related to manufacturing, food, biomass waste, power generation, or similar sectors.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts for industrial textiles and materials within the filtration industry across the UK.
  • Maintain product sales through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to meet targets.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and end-to-end solution/application support for customer needs.
  • Offer after-sales support and technical backup to customers, primarily within the filtration industry.
  • Work remotely and in the field across the UK with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Coordinate with engineering departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience managing key accounts or selling engineering products/services within the filtration industry.
  • Proven sales or service experience in the filtration sector is highly desirable.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely and travel across the UK.
