Job description

At Saint-Gobain Ecophon, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our sales team, working with a client base across Architects, main-contractors, sub-contractors and distributors.

You’ll be responsible for working our client base in the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions, implementing and delivering a portable and targeted sales plan, improving our market share.

Saint-Gobain Ecophon develops, manufactures and markets acoustic products and systems that contribute to a good working environment by enhancing people’s well-being and performance.

This role is home-based, but travel is required across the region we’d envision the successful candidate to be out around 4 days per week.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working within sales, preferably within construction/distributions and/or other similar industries
  • Able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial acumen including negotiating and able to market map
  • Ability to work and implement a successful sales plan in your region
  • Proactivity, our customers want us in front of them, you’ll be able to spot opportunities and find solutions to problems

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively service and grow opportunity across East Midlands and Yorkshire client base
  • Involvement in contract support, supporting and negotiating commercial deals
  • Visiting our customers regularly, building and maintaining key relationships
  • Be the focal point between customers, and other internal stakeholders
