Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join Team Teal in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and passionate sales professional who shares our values of honesty, teamwork, commercial understanding, and solutions-focused approach.

About the role

You will work within our Sales & Marketing team, selling risk and compliance services and tech solutions to legal service clients. Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Following up on all leads generated by marketing activities.
  2. Leading outbound lead generation campaigns.
  3. Managing existing client relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  4. Maintaining knowledge of Teal products and target markets, including identifying opportunities for new product development.
  5. Pitching our services to clients.
  6. Achieving sales targets.

This role is primarily home-based, with national travel as required. Our headquarters are in Manchester.

About our successful candidate

  • Strategy: Implement sales strategies and action plans, follow up on leads, and target core services to meet sales goals.
  • Analytics: Use analytics tools to analyze sales performance, report on successes, weaknesses, and opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, understand our products thoroughly, and deliver effective presentations to clients and partners.

What we offer

- Base salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

- Monthly commission capped at £2,000 (OTE).

- Holiday entitlement: 21 days per year, increasing by one day per year of service up to 26 days, plus bank holidays, birthday day, and Christmas closing days.
