Role – ENG Practice Sales Director/Client Partner

Technology – Sales Engineering, CMT, Hi Tech

Location – London, UK (1st Preference), 2nd Preference - Europe

Compensation – Competitive (including bonus)

The global Engineering services and R&D market is expected to be a $800 billion industry by 2025. Driving this growth are the Hi-tech and Telecom/Media companies that are constantly innovating by leveraging new technologies such as Fibre, 5G, Open standards, AI, and Cloud.

The Communication, Media & Hi-Tech segment is one of Infosys's largest and fastest-growing industry segments, with Engineering services being a critical growth driver.

Our Infosys team in UK/Europe is growing rapidly, and we are seeking top industry talent who are passionate, skilled, and eager to join this journey. We are looking for professionals to join our Engineering Services Practice within the Communication, Media & Hi-Tech segment.

What will you do?

  • Contribute to various phases of the sales lifecycle as a SPEM/PEM expert.
  • Collaborate with industry vertical teams to promote Engineering services to clients.
  • Present concepts to clients and influence them to award business based on capability and track record.
  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to develop effective strategies.
  • Review and develop sales and pursuit plans, and manage the business pipeline with leadership to meet targets and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Possess expert knowledge of MSA and other contract processes and standards, understanding their nuances and interdependencies.
  • Lead client presentations, workshops, and negotiations on pricing and MSA terms.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to craft tailored solutions for target accounts.
  • Assist in building alliances with relevant product and service vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in selling engineering services within telecom/media and Hi-tech sectors.
  • Experience with Telecom/Media Service Providers and OEMs.
  • Experience in selling network engineering, media/entertainment product engineering, embedded software, IoT, and silicon engineering services.
  • Ability to sell to CTOs, Technology, and Engineering organizations, with strong technology and content-led selling skills.
  • Good understanding of industry trends such as network disaggregation, open systems, 5G, OTT/Streaming.
  • Experience selling to telcos like British Telecom, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom, Telefonica, and OEMs like Nokia, Ericsson.
  • Knowledge of formal sales processes, including 'challenger' sales methodology.
  • Experience in 'matrix selling', major account development, and new-enterprise 'hunter' sales mentality.
  • Strong business development skills, including hunting, farming, relationship management, and account management.
