Fly is a the UK's Leading combat sports brand we make luxury sports equipment and apparel for athletes, sports professionals, celebrities and fitness enthusiasts worldwide.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for identifying, pitching, and securing new retail and distribution partnerships, as well as nurturing relationships with existing accounts.

Working closely with the Founder and senior team, you'll help define Fly’s retail strategy, drive revenue through wholesale growth, and ensure Fly products land in the right stores, with the right positioning, at the right time.

You’ll be the go-to commercial lead for retail growth—helping to put Fly on the shelves of gyms, sports retailers, department stores and premium e-commerce platforms globally.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new retail and wholesale opportunities in the UK and internationally
  • Build and manage strong B2B relationships with key retail partners and distributors
  • Develop tailored sales pitches and brand presentations to win new accounts
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts with retail buyers
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure brand alignment in retail environments
  • Track and report on sales performance, retail KPIs, and growth targets
  • Support the development of US retail and distribution strategy
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery and stock management
  • Attend trade shows, events and pop-ups to grow brand awareness and drive interest
  • Keep a close eye on competitor activity, pricing, and retail trends
  • Provide regular feedback to the product and marketing teams to inform new product development and campaigns

About You

  • Proven experience in retail, wholesale, or business development within consumer goods (ideally sportswear, activewear, or fitness-related)
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence in negotiation and pitching
  • Existing network of retail buyers or distributors is a plus
  • Highly proactive and self-motivated—you know how to find and close opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • A love for the sports, fitness, or active lifestyle sector
  • Capable of working independently and cross-functionally
  • Comfortable travelling for meetings, store visits, or trade shows
  • Passionate about joining a fast-growing, mission-led brand

Matching Green (Essex) based, with flexibility and some remote working potential. Occasional travel for retail meetings and events may be required.
