Position: Assistant Children's Residential Home Manager

Salary: £41,511 - £44,711 per annum

Qualifications

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care OR the equivalent.

About the Role

The home supports up to 4 young people of mixed gender, aged 11 to 18, with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, often related to trauma, attachment issues, bereavement, or involvement with the criminal justice system. The aim is to provide inspirational, tailored care to help young people achieve their potential.

The Assistant Children's Residential Home Manager assists the Registered Manager in daily operations, staff recruitment, induction, development, and implementing care, therapeutic, clinical, and risk management plans. In the absence of the Home Manager, they assume overall management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and model best practice in residential care
• Lead interventions and staff training
• Support young people's access to education and health services
• Assist with managing challenging behaviors and supporting criminal justice involved youth
