Requirements: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent.
The home supports up to 4 young people of mixed gender, aged 11 to 18, with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs resulting from their early life experiences and current circumstances.
Many young people may have experienced trauma, attachment issues, bereavement, or loss, impacting their ability to trust and form relationships. Some may require additional support with education, health services (including CAMHS), substance misuse, smoking cessation, or involvement with the criminal justice system. Our goal is to provide inspirational, tailored care that fosters stability, belonging, and personal development, enabling young people to work through past difficulties and achieve their potential.
The Role: The Assistant Children's Residential Home Manager supports the Registered Manager in daily operations, staff recruitment, induction, development, and implementation of care and risk management plans. In the absence of the Home Manager, they assume overall management responsibilities. The role involves modeling best practices, leading interventions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our Children's Residential Service to deliver high-quality care aligned with our Statement of Purpose.
