About the Home

The home supports up to 4 young people of mixed gender, aged 11 to 18, with social, emotional, and behavioral needs stemming from early life experiences and current situations.

Many young people have experienced trauma, attachment issues, bereavement, and loss, affecting their ability to trust and build relationships. Some may require additional support with education, health services (such as CAMHS), substance misuse, and smoking cessation. Others may be involved with the criminal justice system and need support around criminal behavior, restorative justice, and reparation.

The Role

The Assistant Children's Residential Home Manager supports the Registered Manager in daily operations, staff recruitment, induction, development, and implementing care, therapeutic, clinical, and risk management plans. In the absence of the Home Manager, you will assume overall management responsibilities.

You will model best practices, lead interventions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Children's Residential Service in line with its Statement of Purpose.
