Main Job Purpose & Scope
- Ensure accuracy and continuity of payroll using the home's in-house system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the home's in-house system.
- Keep staff and resident files accurate and current.
- Assist the home manager with the recruitment and induction of new staff.
- Answer telephone calls and emails efficiently and politely.
- Provide administrative support to the home manager as required.
- Perform general office administration duties.
Skills Required
- Experience or knowledge of payroll, bookkeeping, and administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with high standards and demonstrate initiative.
- Effective communication skills at all levels, using excellent interpersonal techniques.
- Strong team working skills.
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with good numerical and word processing skills.
