A leading water company is seeking a Planned Maintenance Manager to oversee a critical maintenance program. The role involves leading a team, managing maintenance strategies, and ensuring safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and experience in change management.

As Production Manager (Planned Maintenance) you will effectively lead a team of Electrical/Instrumentation and Mechanical technicians and manage the planned maintenance programme in order to deliver a top quality, safe, and reliable service to our customers.
You should be someone with proven change management experience and a strong change mindset. Ideally, you will have successfully implemented change initiatives in previous roles, demonstrating the ability to influence, shape, and mould processes to meet organisational needs. You should be change-positive and eager to come in and make this role and team your own.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for delivery of planned maintenance activities across our sites. Assisting in reviewing and developing our maintenance strategy, processes and procedures
Working with the Work Management (Planning & Scheduling) team to ensure effective work schedules are created that prioritise key maintenance activity, and enable efficient and effective use of field resources.
To embed a strong health and safety culture within the team, ensuring safe people and safe working at all times in line with our Thrive365 strategy.
Performance manage, develop and fully engage the team in order to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the service provided to customers through the use of performance metrics, team briefs, one to ones and appraisals.
Operational performance management – supporting Production managers in analysing site performance, reliability and water quality to ensure we are maintaining regulatory requirements and optimising site performance.
You'll need:
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Qualified to C&G or a relevant electrical/instrumentation technical qualification
A strong health and safety culture is essential, alongside the ability to be flexible, organised and drive continuous optimisation of our teams and sites.
Self motivated and committed.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in managing electrical/mechanical/instrumentation maintenance activity.
Practical experience of electrical/mechanical/instrumentation maintenance.
Experience in managing an operational budget.

Recognised management qualification
Experience in managing electrical/mechanical/instrumentation maintenance activity, in the water sector.
An understanding of water treatment processes would be highly beneficial but is not required.

£40,000 - £50,000 DoE
