At Craft Distilling Group, we seek driven, self-starting individuals who want to be part of something special.

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our finance team in Richmond.

This is a group role, working closely with the CFO, Financial Director, and a Finance Assistant.

What You Will Do

1. Produce and analyze monthly management accounts for shareholders and senior management, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
2. Supervise month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions, adhering to IFRS principles. This includes managing accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
3. Oversee VAT returns for UK and IE entities and assist with GST lodgement in the AU entity.
4. Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for a smooth process.
5. Compile and analyze financial data, identify trends, deliver managerial insights, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
6. Manage inventory and reconciliation, oversee costing, and create items on our ERP system to ensure seamless integration between financials, supply chain, operations, commerce, reporting, and manufacturing.
7. Directly manage two finance assistants, including training and performance review, ensuring high job satisfaction.

Who You Are

You should have experience working in a similar role within a group or conglomerate and have mentored junior staff. Additionally, you should have experience with or be familiar with:

• CT/VAT/GST reporting (EU specific)
• Multi-currency reporting
• Commercial and operational understanding of the manufacturing industry
• Auditing
• Payroll
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified, Finalist, or Newly Qualified
• Oracle NetSuite ERP systems
• Excel skills (Xlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
