The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing the finance operations for a high-profile creative business. Sitting within the regional finance team, you’ll partner closely with the Regional Finance Director, oversee a small team, and act as the go-to for cash flow, budgeting, and performance reporting oversight.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment and enjoys improving processes, mentoring others, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

Mentor and support junior finance team members, fostering capability and embedding a strong, performance-driven culture
Shape and refine weekly cash forecasting processes, influencing strategic decision-making and regional planning
Elevate systems and reporting by working cross-functionally to improve data integrity, automation, and financial visibility
Drive commercial insight by preparing and analysing multi-currency P&Ls, supporting leadership with performance and profitability analysis
Champion best practice across budgeting, accruals, and cost management—partnering with project and studio leads to deliver meaningful financial insight
Own and lead the Accounts Payable function across multiple European entities, ensuring streamlined operations and robust financial control
Collaborate with senior leadership as a #2 to the Regional Finance Director on spend optimisation, investment planning, and resourcing
Lead audit preparation and compliance, taking full ownership of the annual process and maintaining a year-round audit-ready environment

What our client needs to see (required):

8+ years of experience in management accounting, ideally within a professional services, design, or architecture firm
Confident managing cash flow, AP, and financial reporting across multiple currencies
Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with large data sets
Strong communication skills and ability to manage a variety of stakeholders
Experience preparing for or leading audits

What we’d like to see (preferred):

Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or data analytics tools
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a keen eye for process improvement
ACA or ACCA Qualified/Finalist

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus and benefits

Location: London (On Site - with flexibility)
