Key Responsibilities

The Role

  • Be aware of annual targets for sales revenue, new customers, renewal contracts, and other KPIs assigned by your line manager.
  • Self-generate sales leads through networking, referrals, warm and cold calling, and develop a robust pipeline throughout the sales region.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities for new customers, including one-off sales or new contracts.
  • Follow the NCH Sales Process called “Gears of Selling,” ensuring thorough knowledge and application of the process, and present NCH Europe as a credible and professional supplier of products/services.
  • Work with customers to optimize system efficiencies through innovation.
  • Complete and manage customer orders using relevant technology, adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain post-sale relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, obtain referrals, and promote the company's good image while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collaborate closely with technical staff and the development team to meet customer needs.
  • Provide first-class customer service on time and in full.
  • Accurately enter and manage data within the company's CRM system.
  • Perform service activities as per business needs and contract terms.
  • Adhere to NCH Europe's health and safety standards to protect all employees and agents.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

We are looking for:

  • Recent experience in a customer contact environment with a sales and technical background.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales and contract business culture is advantageous; experience in new business development, especially in industrial sectors, is essential.
  • Experience in face-to-face and phone communication, influencing skills, and customer interaction.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple demands effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, tablets, apps, CRM software, and sales order management systems is optional but beneficial.
  • Valid UK driving license.
