Head of Growth Marketing - Online Performance

Reporting directly to the CEO, as Head of Growth Marketing, you will set and deliver Beauty Bay’s digital growth marketing strategy. You will drive this through Customer Acquisition, Retention, and Performance Optimization across all channels including Paid Search, SEO, Affiliates, and Paid Social.

You will be skilled at leveraging AI and automation to improve marketing performance, carefully balancing data, insights, and budget to ensure performance media investment delivers results.

As ‘Head Of’ for an agile, ambitious online retailer, you need to be hands-on, innovative, and well-versed in best practices, with a track record of leading a team to execute high-impact campaigns that lead to conversion and ROI.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a customer acquisition & retention strategy focused on profitability & growth.
  • Own and execute a full-funnel paid media plan across all channels, including Search & Shopping, SEO, Paid Social, and Affiliates.
  • Develop BEAUTY BAY’s customer loyalty initiatives.
  • Plan and allocate performance marketing budgets for maximum impact in each market.
  • Support key strategic trading objectives and translate these into marketing results.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled team of Performance Marketing specialists.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Brand, Creative & Content to develop relevant 360 campaigns.
  • Manage external media agencies/partnerships where additional expertise is required.
About you

  • Significant digital marketing experience in a consumer-led B2C environment.
  • A proven track record in multi-channel digital marketing activation.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Collaborative, able to work effectively with cross-functional peers at all levels.
  • Experience managing a significant marketing budget across PPC, Affiliates, SEO, and Paid Social.
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing techniques and methods.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
