Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a UX Researcher in Cambridge on a permanent hybrid basis. You will lead research on focused projects, use generative and evaluative methods, and help teams understand user needs.

Working with education, product and design colleagues, you will scope studies, recruit participants, analyse insights, and contribute to reusable research practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, conducting and communicating UX research.
• Ability to work independently and with stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Experience with both generative and evaluative methods.
• Ethical and inclusive research practices.
• Experience recruiting representative participants.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan and conduct research using interviews, surveys and usability testing.
• Select appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods for objectives.
• Recruit representative participants and coordinate incentives.
• Analyse and synthesise evidence and present actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, designers, product managers and education specialists.
• Support colleagues to plan and conduct usability testing.
• Contribute to shared research approaches and an insights repository.
