Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks a UX Researcher to lead research on education products, using both generative and evaluative methods, with remote and field studies to inform design decisions.

You will collaborate with product, design and education teams, recruit participants, analyse findings and contribute to a shared research repository. The role is hybrid in Cambridge, with 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Plan, conduct and communicate UX research.
  • Recruit participants and manage incentives ethically.
  • Analyze evidence and present actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design and education.

Responsibilities

  • Scope, plan and conduct interviews, surveys and usability testing.
  • Select qualitative and quantitative methods aligned with objectives.
  • Recruit participants and coordinate incentives per ethics.
  • Analyse and synthesise findings, presenting clear insights.
  • Lead focused research projects and manage budgets when needed.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers, designers, product managers and education specialists.
  • Support colleagues with usability testing and method sharing.
  • Contribute to research approaches, toolkits and repositories.
  • Advocate for customers, accessibility and inclusion throughout design.
