Job summary

Monmouthshire County Council is seeking experienced, enthusiastic practitioners to join an innovative service that partners with schools and colleagues across the local authority to promote inclusion for children and young people in Monmouthshire.

We welcome candidates with experience of working with learners presenting with challenging behaviours, including ALN and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, and those at risk of exclusion, with DBS checks required.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of this innovative service that works in partnership with schools and colleagues across the local authority to enhance and promote the inclusion of children and young people in Monmouthshire schools. Applications are sought from experienced, enthusiastic practitioners from a range of backgrounds who have a commitment to inclusive practice. We welcome interest from practitioners with experience of working with children/young people presenting with behaviours that challenge, including those with additional learning needs (ALN), neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, and those at risk of exclusion.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year. i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers

County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), NP15 1GA, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
