Job summary

Monmouthshire County Council is seeking a compassionate Safe and Well Support Worker to join our Children’s Services team in Monmouthshire. The post is based at County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), with consideration for location changes as needed.

You will carry out welfare visits, provide supervision and practical support to children and families, helping to ensure safety and continued connections to the people who matter most. DBS checks are required and Welsh language skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check with Children/Adults barred lists
• Exemption from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
• Welsh language skills desirable

We are looking for a caring, motivated and resilient Safe and Well Support Worker to join our Children's Services team.

You will provide welfare visits, supervision and practical support to children and families, helping to ensure children remain safe, supported and connected to the people who are important to them.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year.

i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers

County Hall (Rhadyr - Usk), NP15 1GA, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
