Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Mentors to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for young people with SEND, across homes and the community. Flexible scheduling, with roles available on a rolling basis.

We focus on bespoke, holistic learning and on helping students develop life skills and confidence through trauma-informed approaches, safeguarding, and DBS-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
• Ability to deliver holistic, student-centred support in homes and community settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support in homes and community settings.
• Help develop life skills, confidence and independence.
• Apply trauma-informed strategies and adapt support as needed.
• Model emotional regulation and track progress with feedback.
