Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Assistants in Towcester, UK, to provide one-to-one mentoring and holistic learning support for young people with SEND. You will work in homes or community settings, delivering creative activities and a child-centred approach while building confidence and independence.

DBS and references are required; the role offers flexible hours and a chance to make a real impact. Roles are ongoing with rolling interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs (e.g. ASC, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, trauma, PDA, mental health).
• Background in roles such as Support Worker, LSA, TA, or related care/education roles.
• DBS clearance and 2+ professional references required; safeguarding knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people in home/community settings.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and support using trauma-informed, holistic strategies.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence through flexible activities.
