Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Education Assistants to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for SEND learners in Swindon and surrounding areas. Roles involve in-home and community-based sessions with a focus on confidence, life skills, and emotional regulation.

Flexible hours, in-person/hybrid arrangements, and a meaningful, rewarding role are offered. Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience and be based in the UK with DBS checks and references.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, EBSA, trauma, PDA, mental health)
• UK-based and right to work in the UK, including remote/online work options
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references

Responsibilities

• Develop strong, positive relationships with children and young people
• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings with creative activities
• Support life skills, confidence and independence using trauma-informed approaches
• Model and encourage emotional regulation and track progress with feedback
