Job summary

Stone King LLP in Bath is seeking a Qualified Solicitor to join the nationally recognised Education team. This role involves advising on corporate transactions, mergers, and other strategic projects for leading independent schools and educational organisations.

Based in one of our nationwide offices with hybrid working, you will mentor junior colleagues, develop client relationships, and contribute to business development across education and charity sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on corporate transactions, mergers and strategic projects within education sector.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a track record of developing junior colleagues.
• Proactive business development to identify opportunities and promote the firm’s education and charity work.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex education sector transactions and projects with client focus and commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and drive new business opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor and delegate to junior lawyers to foster high performance.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver sector-focused advisory services and cross-sell other firm specialisms.
