Job summary

Mackenzie Jones IT is seeking an IT Network Engineer for a hands-on role covering 2nd and 3rd line support and dedicated networking across four school sites in South West London. The position is full-time, onsite, with flexibility to work from home during holiday periods.

The candidate will focus 60% on networking (switching, wireless, firewalls and network security) and 40% on end-user computing, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Windows Server support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting networks in education sector is desirable.
• Hands-on configuration, administration and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
• Strong TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Experience with MS 365 administration and device management is valued.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure across 4 school sites.
• Provide 2nd & 3rd line IT support across Microsoft 365, Intune and Windows Server.
• Manage switches, routers, access points and wireless networks.
• Coordinate with ISPs and external suppliers for connectivity.
• Support classroom technology and AV equipment as needed.
