Job summary

Reboot Recruit is partnering with a growing technology solutions provider to recruit an IT Engineer for roles serving Primary and Secondary Schools. The position is Hillingdon / Beaconsfield (4 days school-based, 1 day in the office).

You will deliver onsite support, manage escalations, support projects and help maintain the school's IT infrastructure. You will work across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, cloud and end-user technologies, building trusted relationships with teaching

Qualifications

• Education sector experience in schools or MSP support of education customers.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Desktop OS, Office and Windows Server.
• Understanding of WAN, LAN and WLAN networking.
• Experience with modern workplace, cloud and infrastructure tech.
• Excellent communication to engage teachers, leaders and end users.

Responsibilities

• Providing onsite technical support to schools.
• Managing escalations and coordinating incident responses.
• Supporting projects, upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensuring high-quality service across schools' IT infrastructure.
