Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an Education Effectiveness Partner to lead school improvement initiatives across a defined area. You will work with schools, academies and colleges to promote inclusion, strengthen alternative provision and drive positive outcomes for Leicestershire most vulnerable children and young people.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with DfE number and extensive experience of working with schools, including evaluating and developing whole-school practice.
• Experience managing significant programmes or projects with strategic thinking at a senior level.
• Experience developing and maintaining initiatives and ensuring their effectiveness.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and deal with sensitive issues diplomatically.
• Knowledge of legislative, regulatory and statutory duties in education for children funding and access to quality education.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for all schools, academies, colleges and educational settings in a geographical area of Leicestershire.
• Foster strong working relationships to ensure the best possible education for children and young people.
• Contribute to inclusion strategies, use of alternative provision and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
• Provide strategic thinking and leadership in programme delivery within the Education Effectiveness Service.
• Support flexible and inclusive working arrangements where possible.
