Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an Education Effectiveness Partner to join the Education Effectiveness Service in the Children and Family Services directorate. The role focuses on implementing national and local school improvement initiatives to benefit Leicestershire's children, especially the most vulnerable.

You will be the main point of contact for schools within your area, building strong relationships, promoting inclusion and alternative provision, and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with DfE number is required.
• Experience leading large school improvement programmes.
• Strong strategic thinking at a senior level.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain school initiatives.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
• Diplomacy and tact in sensitive matters.
• Understanding of education legislation, regulatory duties and rights to quality education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link for schools, academies, colleges and settings in a geographic area.
• Lead and promote inclusion and alternative provision strategies.
• Support strategic development of whole-school practice.
• Collaborate with Education Effectiveness Service to implement national and local initiatives.
• Attend events and liaise with stakeholders.
• Ensure best outcomes for vulnerable children.
