The Guardian seeks a deputy training editor, curriculum to design and lead a comprehensive editorial learning and development programme. You will work with editorial colleagues and external partners to build a culture of continuous learning and uphold the highest editorial standards.

You will curate a mid-career leadership development stream, manage the central training curriculum, and deliver workshops across editorial specialisms.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in journalism editorial development and training.
• Strong research and analytical skills to distill complex concepts into actionable training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, design, commissioning, and documentation of an editorial training programme.
• Curate a mid-career editorial development programme to build leadership capacity.
• Own the central curriculum of training with reusable materials.
• Deliver workshops in editorial areas as needed.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and mandatory training.
