Job description

An opportunity has arisen to work as Head of Supply Chain for an exciting company developing technology for the Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Medical, and Scientific industries. This global company has worked on high-profile projects including the Hubble Telescope, Kepler, GAIA, Mars Rovers, New Horizons, and Rosetta.

What's on offer:

• Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, finishing at 4.30pm on Friday.

Duties:

• Accountability for global demand, supply planning, and forecasting processes.
• Support growth plans and improve performance.
• Ensure business planning and forecasting data are supplied for efficient planning and utilization.
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
• Coordinate integrated business planning across divisions.
• Optimize end-to-end supply chain performance in inventory management, lead time, and on-time delivery.
• Conduct capacity planning in collaboration with business streams and functions.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and business analysis.
• Lead implementation of key Supply Chain infrastructure projects.
• Optimize inbound material scheduling to meet business requirements and inventory targets.

Experience:

• Proven experience with advanced S&OP methods and ideas.
• Experience in S&OP planning and process improvement.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Degree or equivalent in Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience driving efficiencies and improvements across a business.
• Strong commercial and customer-focused approach.
• Collaborative and inclusive team-working skills.
• Ability to introduce new ways of working and innovate quickly.
• Ability to work under pressure at pace.
• ERP experience, ideally SAP S4 Hana.
