Job Opportunity: Head of Supply Chain at Sofa Club

Location: Hybrid - Requirement to be on site at Hertford on Mondays and ad hoc travel to Swindon warehouse as needed.

To support its ambitions, Sofa Club seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional to lead Supply Chain Operations and Final Mile Logistics in collaboration with its 3PL partner.

The Head of Supply Chain will work closely with the directors to ensure performance excellence, maintain stock integrity, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This is a key leadership role in a growing business, offering the opportunity to drive commercial growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3PL Oversight: Manage the 3PL partnership, ensuring KPIs and service agreements are met or exceeded.
• Delivery Operations: Oversee 2-person delivery services across the UK.
• Stock Management: Safeguard stock worth over £5 million with accurate tracking, insightful reporting, and robust processes.
• Strategic Planning: Anticipate challenges, plan capacity, and optimise operations for efficiency.
• Leadership: Provide leadership to the supply chain team and collaborate across senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive cost savings and operational enhancements.
• Collaboration: Align operations with business goals through cross-departmental work.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong leadership experience in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to scale supply chain and operations in a high-growth environment.
