Job description

An opportunity has arisen to work as Head of Supply Chain for an exciting company who develop technology for the Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Medical and Scientific industries. This global company work on some of the highest profile projects including Hubble Telescope, Keplar, GAIA, Mars Rovers, New Horizons, and Rosetta to name but a few. Duties:

• Accountability for the global demand, supply planning and forecasting processes.
• Support growth plans and improve performance.
• Ensure that business planning and forecasting data is supplied for efficient planning and utilisation.
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Planning, warehouse and Logistics teams for the division.
• Integrated business planning across division, ensuring commonality of plans, messaging and information flows.
• Optimisation across end-to-end supply chain to maximise performance in inventory management, lead time and OTD.
• Capacity planning activities across the business in close collaboration with business streams and functions.
• Provision of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and business analysis.
• Implementation lead of all key Supply Chain infrastructure projects.
• Optimization of inbound material scheduling to ensure it is in line with business requirements and inventory targets.

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience with cutting edge S&OP methods and ideas.
• Previous experience in S&OP planning and process improvement.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Degree or equivalent experience in relevant Operations, Engineering or Business Administration field.
• Demonstrable experience of driving efficiencies and improvement throughout a business.
• A commercial and customer facing focus is essential.
• Show a collaborative and inclusive team-based way of working.
• Be capable of introducing new ways of working and driving innovation through the business at speed.
• Able to work at pace under pressure.
• ERP experience ideally SAP S4 Hana.
