About The Role

We are actively seeking a Works Scheduler to join our friendly, dedicated team that ensures our customer needs are met efficiently and promptly. An excellent telephone manner and problem-solving skills are essential.

We are looking for an individual seeking progression, with 50% of the team having been promoted in the last 2 years, earning a new pay grade.

Location: Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire.

Hours: 40 hours per week on a 7-week rotating schedule. 3 weeks a month from 07:00 to 15:30 and one week from 09:00 to 18:00. One weekend a month required.

Salary: £26,000 per annum, with potential annual bonuses based on performance.

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 (Monday-Saturday) and x2 on Sundays.

Responsibilities - But Not Limited To

1. Optimising, preparing, and scheduling preventive, planned, and remedial maintenance.
2. Scheduling work orders in accordance with SLAs, optimising travel routes, and increasing productivity.
3. Working closely with engineers to identify and resolve issues, enhancing operational effectiveness.
4. Maintaining high standards in Health, Safety & Environment, Housekeeping, Performance, Waste, Communication, and Continuous Improvement.
5. Supporting the Operations Manager and team to meet quality, cost, and performance targets.
6. Managing and coordinating workloads based on priorities, estimating resources and durations.
7. Participating in scheduled meetings.

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role

1. Working knowledge of SAP systems (desirable).
2. Experience in a fast-paced environment.
3. Experience in planning and coordinating maintenance work.
4. Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
5. Ability to make decisions under pressure.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
