Job description

Scheduler - Risley

Over the last 12 months, our Scheduling team has doubled in size due to the extraordinary success and subsequent growth of Marlowe Fire and Security. We are still actively seeking skilled and experienced Schedulers and Planners to join our talented team, enhance existing capabilities, and support further development of this flourishing team. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dynamic Schedulers and Planners who can multitask and thrive in a high-paced environment while confidently managing high volumes of work.

Duties include

1. Efficiently and profitably scheduling and dispatching Service & Maintenance Engineers to customers.
2. Proactively monitoring engineers' activities.
3. Managing all phone and email messages and processing them within SLA.
4. Processing orders to ensure all work is completed on time.
5. Ensuring your engineer area is clear of jobs at the end of the shift.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 2 years’ experience in a scheduling and/or planning role.
• Experience with PPM and/or reactive service and maintenance engineers is preferred; however, exceptional candidates from similar roles within installations will also be considered.
• Background in fire and security industry is advantageous but not mandatory. We can teach industry-specific knowledge to natural-born schedulers with excellent planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner, highly organized, and customer-focused.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Additional Info

Due to the security nature of this role, successful candidates will undergo background checks including credit, five-year references, and DBS checks. The role is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, based in our new offices in Salford Quays.
