Contract Administrator

Location: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, Dumfries, DG2 8PS

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0800-1600 hours

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience, plus basic Serco benefits

Role Overview

This active and visible role requires excellent customer relationship and administrative skills. The Contract Administrator will support the Performance Manager and provide customer-focused administrative support, liaising with visitors, clients, and staff professionally and politely.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and business support to the team, managing service issues and ensuring good customer service.
  • Raise and monitor work orders, update trackers, and collate documents for lifecycle claims.
  • Raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and log incidents on Assure, the Health & Safety platform.
  • Maintain databases and support the production and delivery of reports under the Contract.
  • Support team activities to meet operational objectives and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Customer-focused with high attention to detail
  • Organized and able to manage competing priorities
  • Team player with relevant office administration qualifications or experience
  • Problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills
