Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for primary schools in Liverpool City Centre and North Liverpool. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess pupil progress, and adapt to learners' needs within school schemes of work.

Candidates must have QTS, PGCE or equivalent, an undergraduate degree, 5 GCSEs including English, Maths, Science, a DBS check, and the legal right to work in the UK. Fluent English and in-school teaching experience are essential.

Qualifications

• DBS and safeguarding checks completed
• In-school teaching experience preferred
• Fluent level of English, spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach within the context of the school's plans, curriculum, and schemes of work
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Administer end of KS testing and assessment where appropriate
• Develop and demonstrate specialist teaching strategies consistently within the classroom
• Maintain a sound knowledge of statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording and reporting pupil progress

Requirements

• An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science.
• Undergraduate education degree or a degree in any subject and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• In-school teaching experience
• Fluent level of English, spoken and written.
