Job summary

Boots is seeking an Assistant eCommerce Trading Manager for the Nottingham site to own the skincare category on boots.com, shaping launches and trading plans to drive revenue and conversions. This hands-on role requires using data to spot opportunities and influence partners.

You’ll work on-site with the Beauty eCommerce Trading team, delivering online strategies, launches and optimised category presentation, with a focus on growth and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial role within eCommerce, retail trading or buying.
• Strong understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing.
• Confidence using data and insight to build plans, make decisions and improve performance.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others and hold people to account.
• Proactive, commercially minded with initiative and calculated risk taking.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Nottingham.
• Willingness to work outside normal office hours when needed, including 5am starts occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day trading of the Skincare category on boots.com.
• Shape how the category, brands and products are presented online to support growth and conversion.
• Deliver new product launches, sales plans and online trade plans across the category.
• Own the digital plan for your brands and category, ensuring activity supports commercial goals.
• Use data and insight to review performance, identify opportunities and improve the customer journey.
• Work closely with internal teams and external brand partners to keep the category supported.
• Support development initiatives and process improvements across ecommerce trading.
• Ensure legal and safe trade of the category online while delivering against KPIs.
• Help drive revenue and profit growth, market share ambitions and strong online execution.
